SmartEnCity Network Workshop Day
Join us for a Workshop Day focussing on Integrated Energy Planning methods, experiences of our Lighthouse Cities and the transfer of SmartEnCity knowledge, so that cities can directly benefit from the project’s outcomes and start their own journey towards a low carbon future.
Within SmartEnCity project, Integrated Energy Plans (IEP) were developed as part of the overall Smart Integrated Urban Plan (SIUP) to support cities in their Smart Zero Carbon transition by applying a specific methodology which includes all necessary stakeholders ranking from politicians through companies and businesses to the citizens – all working together with joint forces towards a smart sustainable future.
Joining the SmartEnCity Workshop Day will enable the participants to understand the Integrated Energy Planning concepts and methods and to apply them in real life. Our Lighthouse Cities will talk about their experiences, the challenges and threats they encountered when they were setting up their Integrated Energy Plans. In addition, attendees will be introduced to the City Information Open Platform (CIOP) – another main result of and developed within SmartEnCity project – an innovative online platform, ready to be applied in order to manage the big data of a smart city.
