2nd Meeting of the Estonian Smart City Club14 Dec 2018
On December 11, the newly created local Estonian Smart City Network, known as the Smart City Club, gathered for its second meeting.
The meeting was held jointly with a seminar on housing management and co-organised by SmartEnCity project partner TREA as this topic was one of the priority ones mapped during the first Club meeting.
The seminar focused on various issues having to do with housing, such as expropriation of property and public funding for housing stock renovation. Present were club members and city representatives from Tallinn, Võru, Paide and Elva, in addition to several other Estonian municipality representatives, who were all invited and encouraged to join the Club. The Club also discussed its next meeting, which will be held in and hosted by Paide City at the beginning of 2019.
