Fifth Planning conference in Lighthouse City Tartu20 Nov 2019
On 7.- 8. November, SmartEnCity project partner University of Tartu organized a thematical session in the framework of Tartu's Planning Conference 2019.
More than 360 participants from Estonian research institutions, public, private and third sectors were participating and discussing topics related to spatial planning. This year’s conference topic was “Democracy and technology in common space“ with a specific focus on tehnological solutions in spatial planning.
Topics like mobility as a service, autonomous vehicles and smart solutions in different municipalities were discussed in the thematical session “To be smart in a city as well as in rural area”, which was organized by University of Tartu. Besides Tartu, SmartEnCity Network member Elva also presented their case.
After the conference, participants could join different excursions. Andra Somelar (IBS) organized and led a very interesting smartovka art-tour.
