SmartEnCity Network Meeting
The first important Networking Meeting of this year will be happening in Asenovgrad, Follower City of SmartEnCity, focussing on Bulgarian Cities. Following the General Assembly of the SmartEnCity project partners, the Network and other interested cities will meet on the 15th of March.
After the presentations given by Smart Cities in the Bulgarian context (e.g. Asenovgrad, Sofia, Bourgas, Varna, Smolyan), round table discussion will offer an insight about Smart Buildings, Smart Urband Mobility and ICT for Smart Cities and other topics.
These discussions will allow the participating cities to learn from Smart Cities's experience and solutions as well as the possibility to seek individual information and therefore to check whether a Smart City transition is an option or would be possible in the respective environment, as well.
The day will conclude with site visits to smart solutions in Asenovgrad such as Asenitsa hydro power plant, the Municipal Waste Water Treatment plant with installation for sever heat utilisation for space heating and the Energy retrofitting of private multi-family residential buildings.
